The source of the water, when it was discovered, what steps were taken to prevent further damage, the extent of affected materials, and a record of the mitigation work performed.

Photograph before cleanup, keep damaged items until they have been documented, save receipts for anything purchased during the emergency, and write down dates and times.

Moisture readings, equipment logs and photos of the affected areas create an objective record of the loss and the drying process. We can share that file with you or your adjuster.
